2013 UGANDA

Operation: Jesus Pictures has the opportunity to work in Nabwendo, Uganda, though the help of Pastor Jean Miruho de Dieu. Nabwendo, a village with a population of approximately 5000, does not have a source for clean water. OJP is planning to fund the purchasing of wells for the village and also to start a free school for some of the poorest children in the village. In 2008, OJP sponsored a similar school in Kigali, Rwanda for one year, where students were given one meal a day and taught the basics of reading and writing.

Please support our efforts to provide water to the village and to provide teaching in the free school. It costs $100 to go to school there, and many people cannot afford to send their children. This is a chance to change people's lives! Please support us in our efforts. All donations given to OJP at the current time (unless specifically requested otherwise) will go to support the work in Nabwendo, Uganda. A record of your donation for charity will be sent to you at the end of the year for tax purposes.

In August 2013, OJP plans to send a team of six to Nabwendo to purchase an acre of land for the school, to look for potential sites for the wells, and to visit a Refugee Camp where we have been sending the free pictures of Jesus. We will post pictures and give details following the Mission Trip.
